Despite being obsessed with books since childhood, I began bookbinding 3 years ago, when I couldn't get my hands on a clothbound edition of Howl's Moving Castle.

I thought, well, how hard could it be to make my own? The answer was much harder than I initially expected, but also fun and rewarding. Once I purchased a Cricut machine and a Photoshop subscription to finally put my very dusty Graphic Design degree to use, Alexandra's Bindery was founded.

I make all my books in my small Oxfordshire town, and my sales directly support my slightly out-of-hand, book addiction.
